NEW YORK, NY, April 19, 2005  ---  CSFB/Tremont Index is pleased to announce that it will begin the publication of weekly indicative values of its CSFB/Tremont Investable Hedge Fund Index today.

"Providing a weekly indicative return enhances transparency and allows for an intra-month update of the hedge fund index performance for benchmarking purposes", said Oliver Schupp, President of CSFB Tremont Index LLC and senior member of CSFB's Hedge Fund Investments group. 
 

The new indicative weekly CSFB/Tremont Investable Hedge Fund Index return will be calculated every Tuesday based on estimated constituent fund net asset values provided to CSFB/Tremont. The official and estimated index values will continue to be published on a monthly basis and are available on www.hedgeindex.com.


The CSFB/Tremont Investable Hedge Fund Index was launched with 60 funds across 10 style-based sectors.  The Investable Index was set at 100 on August 1, 2003.  As of April 1, 2005, the aggregate assets under management of the index constituents were approximately $113 billion. 

The funds currently included in the index are available on the web site at www.hedgeindex.com
